👋 Hi, I’m Heriberto Roman a Full Stack Developer with a builder’s mindset and a passion for creating useful, scalable web products.

I come from a family of makers and problem-solvers, and I bring that same spirit to the keyboard. Since teaching myself to code in 2014, I’ve worn many hats — from technical instructor empowering young adults in the South Bronx, to contract engineer building real-world products across industries like healthtech, e-commerce, and education.

With several years of professional experience, I work fluently across both front-end and back-end stacks. Whether it’s Django, React, PostgreSQL, or AWS, I enjoy the challenge of crafting robust systems that are clean under the hood and seamless to use. When I’m not building on the web, you’ll find me spending time with my wife and kids 👦👧 or playing ice hockey a couple of times a week to stay sharp 🥅🏒.
